PRAISWATER, Elizabeth Bernice (1934 - 2007)

Elizabeth Bernice Praiswater. 72, Nevada. Mo. died Monday. July 23, 2007, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Butler, Mo.; to Harvey Celeil Goforth and Mary Oleta West Goforth. She was married July 2, 1953, in Butler, Mo.; to Wendell Wayne Praiswater and he preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Praiswater was born in Butler, and grew up in a variety of locales. After her marriage, she settled in this area and spent the remainder of her life here. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Nevada. Survivors include two sons, Tim Praiswater and his wife Flo, Rocheport, Mo., Rick Praiswater and his wife Shelia. Nevada; one daughter, Cindy Cartwright and her husband Clifford Jr., Nevada; five grandchildren Mitchell Praiswater, Guifport, Miss., Brian Praiswater and Mathew Praiswatcr, both of Rocheport, Mo., Josh Praiswater and Lacy Praiswater, both of Nevada; two great-grandchildren, Garret Praiswater and Logan Praiswater, both of Gulfport, Miss.; two sisters, Joyce Blackmore, Kansas City, Kan., Barbara Ketterrnan, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and one brother, Charles Goforth. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 26, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, with Stephen Zinn officiating.
