Jack Mosher of Harrisonville, Missouri will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 at
the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Bill
Goring officiating. No visitation. Burial, Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.
Larry Jack Mosher, age 66 of Harrisonville, Missouri died Sunday, March 15, 2009
at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born May 31, 1942 to
Harold Dave and Maxine Copenhaver Mosher in Topeka, Kansas. Larry is survived by
his wife, Ruth Mosher of Harrisonville, Missouri; three sons, John Veach and
wife Sharon of Enid, Oklahoma, Eddie Veach and wife Narressa of Osceola,
Missouri and Larry R. Mosher and wife Andrea of Lafayette, Louisiana; a
daughter, Tammy Johnson and husband Mike of Urich, Missouri; a brother, Billie
Jack Fletcher and wife Carol of Maple Hill, kansas; two sisters, Judy Beaman and
husband Wayne and Jill Douwdy and husband Duane both of Topeka, Kansas; eight
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents and six-day old son, Billie Jack Mosher.

Lillian Loraine Mosher, 73, passed away, Friday, Oct. 17, at North Kansas City
Memorial Hospital. Lillian is the daughter of William Edwin and Hazel Lorene
Mosher. She was born and raised in Schell City and graduated from the Schell
City High School. She leaves a daughter, Cheryl Cook; three grandchildren – Cory
Cook, his wife, Jennifer, and Taylor Jo Cook; two sisters, Donna Harleman –
Appleton City, and Wilma Burnett – Kansas City, and many nieces, nephews and
cousins. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, in the Green
Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home – Schell
City.
MOSHER, Melvin K. (1922-2004)

Melvin K. Mosher, 82, Nevada, MO, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2004 at Nevada
Regional Medical Center following a short illness. He was born March 30, 1922 in
Schell City, MO, to Henry Grant Mosher and Lillian Echelle Mosher. He married
Beatrice Lucille Belcher on March 9, 1968 in Nowata, OK, and she preceded him in
death on February 22, 1997. Mr. Mosher grew up in Schell City and attended
Schell City School. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II in Europe from
1942-1946. He worked as a mechanic for three GM dealerships in Nevada having
worked for Cobb, Hennessey’s, and later Guthrie Motors until his retirement in
1984. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Nevada. Survivors include
one son, Terry K. Mosher, Nevada, MO; one daughter, Melvonna Schneider, Oklahoma
City, OK; one stepson, Albert Spencer, Wichita, KS, 13 grandchildren, and
numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was
preceded in death by two stepsons, and six brothers, Harold Mosher, Edwin
Mosher, James Mosher, Kenneth Mosher, Ralph Mosher, and Roy Mosher. Funeral
services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May,26, 2004, at Calvary Baptist
Church with Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn
Cemetery, Schell City, MO. The family receives friends 7-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday
evening at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, and friends may call now and until
9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the
Calvary Baptist Church, Arch and Cedar, Nevada, MO 64772.
