Bruce D. Lane, November 25, 1933 - July 6, 2008 - Bruce D. Lane, 74 of Calhoun, Missouri, passed away July 6, 2008, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Bruce was born November 25, 1933 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma, a son of Gilmor E. and Eva (Fletcher) Lane. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Western Electric and Westinghouse; he had also worked for Bendix. Bruce loved garage sales and visiting with people. He enjoyed collecting all sorts of things, particularly pictures. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home; his children, Janette Paulson, Valerie Gentry, Brian Bicknell, Shelby Bicknell, Michael Bicknell, and Lisa Loe, and one sister, Shirley Lotze. He is also survived by his former wife, Mary Lane. Additional survivors include 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10-11am Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel, Missouri. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11am. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery, Drexel. The family suggests memorial contributions in Bruce’s name to the Humane Society. Written messages may be sent to the family at www.mullinaxfh.com.

Russell Elkanah Lane III 1945 - 2005 - Russell Elkanah Lane III, also known as William "Bill" Johnson, age 60 of Butler, Missouri and the Passaic community died September 22, 2005 at his home in Passaic. A celebration of life was held at the home of his son, james Lane in Passaic, Missouri on Saturday, September 24, 2005.
