HOOKER, Ella Jane (Abt. 1886 - 1912)

MRS. CHESTER HOOKER DEAD -  Mrs. Chester Hooker died at her home near Altona, Saturday night, September 28, 1912, age 24 years. Her maiden name was Taylor, a daughter of Squire Taylor, and she was reared in the Altona neighborhood.
Funeral services were held at Altona Monday, conducted by Rev. J.A. Smith. Afterwards the body was laid to rest in the Altona cemetery.

Jane P. Hooker, 85, Temple, TX. Formerly of Appleton City, Mo., died Wed., Sept. 21, 2005 in Temple, TX. Graveside services 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at Altona Cemetery, Altona Mo.

Jane P. Hooker  - Jane P. Hooker, 85, Temple, TX, formerly of Appleton City, MO, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at the Temple Nursing Home, Temple, TX. Graveside services were held Saturday, September 24 at the Altona Cemetery, Altona, MO, officiated by Rev. Henry Green, Cleveland Baptist Church.

Hooker, Lonnie Lee (1909 - 1975)

LAST RITES FOR LONNIE HOOKER HELD FEB. 1, 1975 - Lonnie Lee Hooker, Rt#1, LaCygne, Kansas, passed away January 29, 1975 at Ft. Scott, Kansas at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 12 days. He was born August 17, 1909 at Altona, Missouri, to Ella Jane Taylor and Chester James Hooker. On December 4, 1938 he was married to Jane P. Stockdall and to this union was born three sons. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and twin brother. He is survived by his wife, Jane Hooker, three sons, James Earl of Independence, Mo.; Samuel Joe Hooker, Ft. Riley, Kansas; Charles Lee Hooker of the home; two adopted sons, Johnny Lee Bear, Houston, Texas, Robert Wayne Hooker, LaCygne, Kansas; three daughters-in-law; three grandsons, James Bear, Jimmy Hooker, Robert Wayne Hooker, Jr.; two granddaughters, Heather Hooker and Linda Hooker; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 1, 1975 at the Atkinson-Dickey Chapel in Adrian with Rev. Addis Finney officiating. Interment in Altona cemetery.
