Charlotte Kay Highfill, 40, Duenweg, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at Freeman Health Systems West, Joplin, following a sudden illness. She was born Dec. 25, 1966 in Nevada, to Charles F. Hicks and Sharon Kay Troegle Hicks. She was married March 4, 1989, in El Dorado Springs, to Bobby Highfill and he survives of the home. Charlotte was born and raised in Nevada, and spent most of her youth here. She worked in retail sales for a number of businesses, most recently for Old Navy, in Joplin. In addition to her husband, Bobby, she is survived by two sons, Austin Highfill Nevada, and Aaron Highfill, of the home; two daughters, Alissa Meyer, El Dorado Springs, and Amanda Highfill, of the home; her mother, Sharon Keys, Lamar; one brother, Greg Hicks, San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Marilyn Berberich, Nevada; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning between 10 and 11 a.m.

Pauline G. Tummons Highfill 1922-2005.  Pauline G. Tummons Highfill, 83, Adrian, MO passed away in her home on Tuesday evening, November 28, 2005. Services were held Saturday, December 3, 2005 in Wildson Brim Daniel Funeral Home Chapel, Walnut Grove.
