"Stoney" Jack Stone Gregory, December 30, 1952 - August 1, 2008 - Funeral services for Jack Stone "Stoney" Gregory will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri with Rev. Bill Read officiating. No visitation. Burial in Scott Cemetery, Amsterdam, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Whitney Gregory College Scholarship Fund. Jack Stone "Stoney" Gregory, age 55 of Amsterdam, Missouri died Friday, August 1, 2008 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler, Missouri. He was born December 30, 1952 to Jack Vern and Violet Leona Thomas Gregory in Amsterdam. Stoney is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Gregory of Amsterdam, Missouri; two daughters, Brandi Fisk and husband Shawn of Sun City, California and Whitney Gregory of the home; his parents, Jack Vern and Violet Gregory of Amsterdam, Missouri; three brothers, Dennis Gregory of Amsterdam, Missouri, Randy Gregory and wife Donna of Butler, Missouri and Brian Gregory and wife Mary of Amsterdam, Missouri; his mother-in-law, Nancy Armentrout of Amsterdam, Missouri; a grandson, Calin; and uncles, aunts, a nephew, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Leonard L. Gregory, May 19, 1934 - May 8, 2009.Graveside service at Myers Cemetery in rural Appleton City, Missouri on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to Crossroads Hospice. Leonard Leroy Gregory, son of James Edger and Rita Mae (McCaslin) Gregory, was born May 19, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away at his home in Windsor, Missouri May 8, 2009 at 74 years of age. Leonard lived in Kansas City until 1947 when his family moved to a farm west of Appleton City, Missouri. It was there that Leonard met his wife Patty Ann Wegener. They were married at Leonard’s grandma’s home in Linden, Missouri in 1953. They lived in Linden for several years before moving to California for four years where Mr. Gregory worked for Douglas Air Craft. The family moved back to the Appleton City area where they resided until 2003 when Patty and Leonard moved to Windsor, Missouri. Even though he had been handicapped for many years, hunting and fishing were two of Leonard’s hobbies. He loved catching any type of fish and trot lining. He especially liked turkey and duck hunting. He also enjoyed hunting morel mushrooms. Leonard found great pleasure in going to “the boats” where he played the slot machines and poker. Preceding Leonard in death were his parents, one sister Opal Blankenship and one brother Jimmy Gregory. Survivors include his wife Patty; three children, Vicki Baker, Lenny Gregory and wife Mary and Tina Anderson and husband Fred; ten grandchildren, Jamie Gary, John Paul Gary, Katrina Gregory, Lonnie Gregory, Vince Freemyer Jennie Anderson, Stacy, Tim, Nathan and Jaclyn; six great-grandchildren, Mariah, Tristen, Luke, Abby, Caden and Alexa; one brother Kellis Gregory; and three sisters, Stella Thompson, Carolyn Green and Brenda Foster.
