Funeral services for Rolan Gorham will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Rev. James Stanfield-Myers officiating. Visitation, 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Chapel. Burial, Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Contributions, Butler Bear Backers. Rolan Wayne Gorham, age 76 of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Missouri. He was born June 5, 1932 to Joseph Level and Dorothy Alene Norris Gorham in Ray County, Missouri. Rolan is survived by his wife, Janet Gorham of Butler, Missouri; a son, Lance Gorham and partner Helga Schmidt of Bellows Falls, Vermont; two daughters, Jennie Gorham Wilson and husband Dan of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Julie Diehl and husband Kim of Butler, Missouri; mother-in-law, Lucille Elliott of Butler, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Dane, Dirk and Cale Diehl, Tawnie Lucille, Dannielle Wilson and Tashia, Emily and Chance Gorham; and
one great-grandson, Aiden Acker. He was preceded in death by his parents.
