Visitation, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial, Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. James "Jim" William Bellis, age 78 of Butler, Missouri died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. He was born April 10, 1930 to Paul Evan and Hellen May Greer Bellis in Kansas City, Missouri. Jim is survived by his wife, Georgianna Bellis of Butler, Missouri; two sons, Jerry W. Bellis of Overland Park, Kansas and Edward "Eddie" D. Bellis and wife Debbie of Archie, Missouri; a son-in-law, Roger Wentz of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Nickole Wentz McGall, Amanda Michelle Bellis, Joshua Bellis, Jason Bellis and David Bellis; and seven great-grandchildren, Nay McGall, Josina McGall, Jerrica McGall, Tracy McGall, Blake Bellis, Skylar Bellis and Gavin Bellis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Billie Jean Wentz in 2007.
