Beulah May Allison 1939 - 2006. Beulah May Allison, 66, Harrisonville, MO, formerly of Adrian, MO died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Citizens Memorial Healthcare in Bolivar, MO. Funeral services were held Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian, MO.

ALLISON, Beulah May Greenwell (1939 - 2006)

Beulah May Allison - Beulah May Allison, 66, Harrisonville, formerly of Adrian, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare in Bolivar. She was born Feb. 12, 1939, in Lowry City, the daughter of John C. Sr. and Beulah M. (Feaster) Greenwell. She and her husband, Porter, owned and operated Allison Litho in Kansas City for 27 years before retiring in 2000.  Preceding her in death were parents and a brother, John Greenwell. Surviving are her husband, Porter, of the home; three sons, Phil Allison, Romulus, Mich., Jeffrey Allison and wife, Kerri, Olathe, Kan., and Mitchell Allison and wife, Barbara, Foristell; two sisters, Virginia Shelton and her husband, Arnold, Flemington, and Nancy Long, Stockton; and five grandchildren, Blair Morgan Allison, Travis Ryan Allison, Joshua Kale Allison, Jake Kobie Allison and Taylor Kristine Allison. Honorary pallbearers were Blair Allison and Taylor Allison.  Pallbearers were Phil Allison, Jeffrey Allison, Mitchell Allison, Travis Allison, Joshua Allison and Jake Allison.  Services were Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian, with the Rev. Paul Burhart, officiating. Kathleen Stephens was the organist. Burial was in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville. ALLISON, Robert George (1929 - 2007)

Robert George Allison, son of Robert Wilson and Mary (Shepard) Allison, was born in rural Rockville, Missouri, March 8, 1929. He passed away August 3, 2007 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Missouri at 78 years of age. Robert lived in the rural Rockville area near Mt. Zion Church all of his life except for the time he spent in the service. He served his country during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Alaska. After his service time Robert returned home, continuing to live in the area where he had grown up. Robert graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Extension, lacking only twelve hours of having a Master's Degree in Soils. Mr. Allison was a member of Kidds Chapel Church and sang with the Mt. Zion Quartet in his younger years. He loved to play his guitar and sing. Robert and Helen Ruth Blackwell were united in marriage November 22, 1959 at Mt. Zion Church and to this union four children were born. He was a good husband and father and enjoyed taking his family on a vacation every year. He loved to travel and especially liked Colorado. The family had also taken trips to Canada and Mexico. Robert had always wanted to go back to Alaska and planned a trip in 1992 when he drove all the way, taking the rugged Alaskan "AlCan" Highway, which is over 1,500 miles long, the last leg of the trip. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Helen Ruth of the home; his four children. James Edward Allison and wife Jonna of Villa Park, California, Kathryn Gayle and husband Charlie Morlock of Montrose, Missouri, Karol Lynette Smith of Rockville, Missouri and John Robert Allison and wife Heidi of Litchfield, Connecticut; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Jason, and Matthew Smith, Lauren and Lyndsi Morlok, John Robert, Jenelle and Jessica Allison; one step-grandson, Brandon Swieger; and one step-great-granddaughter, Kadence Sexton. Robert will be long remembered for his wonderful smile and the infectious grin that he passed on to those he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Services were Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri. Officiated by Pastor Sam Masten. Music selectiion were Osage Gospel Group Musicians, "Winner Either Way", "What A Day That Will Be". Casketbearers were Tony Smith, Jason Smith, Matthew Smith, Charlie Morlok, Danny Smith, Stanley Zink. Honorary Casketbearer was Charlie Kauffman. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. T. Juanita Allison (August 22, 1918 - August 24, 2008) - Juanita Allison, 90, Adrian, MO, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Adrian Manor, Adrian, MO. Funeral services 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian. Visitation 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday at the chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 4 West Ohio Street, Suite 2-B, Butler, MO 64730. Juanita was born August 22, 1918 in Cresson, Texas, to Porter and Osie (Ballow) Tennison. She married Porter Allison and moved to the Adrian area in 1936. Juanita was a farmer’s wife who loved gardening, animals and the country. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Porter, and two brothers. She is survived by one son, Porter J. Allison; one daughter, Mary Lou Stratemeier and her husband, Ed; three grandsons, Phil Allison, Jeff Allison and his wife, Kerri and Mitch Allison and his wife, Barb and five great-grandchildren.
